Hi, my name is Eden, and I am a totally blind woman in the Portland, Oregon area although living in Washington state in a town called Battle Ground. I am 40 years old, spiritual but not Christian or any other organized religion but respectful of others. I am a medical and other uses marijuana activist and smoker, and I speak lots about that so don't want to offend anyone. I do say whatever is on my mind, but like I said am respectful and friendly to all. I use speech mostly JFW, I own a braille device the gbraille sense on hand which I am learning to use more, I want an IPod or IPhone and want to learn to use it with my braille device. I love music pretty much rock only anything from some hard rock to singer/songwriter types. Favorites include Staind, Tori Amos, Dead Can Dance, The Cure, Within Temptation. I love movies and TV mostly crime and scifi like Criminal MInds, Law and Order, Star Trek, Twilight Zone. I love old-time radio, too. I want to learn to play games on the computer, and I love word games as well. Greetings from the other state where it's legal. I really don't see why they just don't make it legal everywhere, the amount of revenue it has generated here in Colorado is huge, not to mention we don't have to imprison people for doing it now. Besides, a night of smoking is always better than a night of drinking, your body will surely agree with that the next day. Welcome to the chaos!
Agreed Scott. But drug enforcement is also very lucrative. If we could make it more lucrative, for the drug enforcers and lawyers, for it to be legal instead of illegal, then they would get on board with the rest of us.
And you guys know what? There's a lot of educator types who are still bamboozled by the mythology presented by flicks like Reefer Madness, totally unaware of the racist overtones and the gross inaccuracies.
